EXPLORING THE NATURE OF COMPACT RADIO SOURCES ASSOCIATED TO UCHII REGIONS

چکیده
We present Very Large Array 7 mm continuum observations of four Ultra-Compact (UC)HII regions, observed previously at 1.3 cm, in order to investigate the nature compact radio sources associated with these regions. detected a total seven sources, them thermal emission, and two have clear non-thermal emission. The emission is consistent presence an ionized envelope, either static (i.e., trapped gravitational radius massive star) or flowing away photo-evaporative flow). On other hand, remains unclear several possibilities are proposed. possibility that most photo-evaporating objects remaining ones more-evolved previous studies on UCHII

Clues on the nature of Compact Steep Spectrum radio sources from optical spectroscopy
New long-slit spectra are presented for a group of Compact-Steep-Spectrum (CSS) sources (i.e. powerful radio sources with sub-galactic size and steep spectral index at high radio frequencies) selected from the southern (δ < 10◦) 2-Jy sample of radio sources with redshift limit of z = 0.7. Their spectra are strong in emission lines (e.g. [O III]λ5007 and [O II]λ3727), as expected for such powerf...

Wepresent results from 86GHzVLBI1 observations of 28 compact radio sources made in April 1993. All but two of the observed objects are active galactic nuclei. The remaining two objects are the galactic center Sgr A∗ and the X-ray binary starCygnusX-3.Of the observed sources, 26haveyielded fringe detections. We present correlated flux densities, estimate the maximumobserved brightness temperatur...
متن کاملMorphology of high-luminosity compact radio sources.
High-dynamic range imaging and monitoring with very-long-baseline interferometry reveal a rich morphology of luminous flat-spectrum radio sources. One-sided core-jet structures abound, and superluminal motion is frequently measured. In a few cases, both distinct moving features and diffuse underlying jet emission can be detected. Superluminal motion seen in such sources is typically complex, on...
متن کاملMicrolensing of multiply–imaged compact radio sources
We present the first unambiguous case of external variability of a radio gravitational lens, CLASS B1600+434. The Very Large Array (VLA) 8.5–GHz difference light curve of the lensed images, taking the proper time-delay into account, shows the presence of external variability with 14.6–σ confidence. We investigate two plausible causes of this external variability: scattering by the ionized compo...
